Need assistance identifying a Masi

Hello,
I bought a bright red vintage Masi bicycle a few years back. It has Masi engraved on seat stays, rear caliper post, fork, but the bottom bracket has a round hole instead of an "M".
Previous owner said he pieced it together with Campy everything and all the decals are long gone. It has a 3 digit number above the hole and below the yellow triangle.
Below the hole is "54", which corresponds to the size. I've visited some of the Masi sites and read the stories about Italy and USA made, but still cant figure out what I have.
Bike has one chrome chainstay and chrome fork.
Can someone help me identify this bicycle?
I cant seem to upload photos because I dont have enough posts on this forum.

Thank you.
