Obviously the owner is either misrepresenting the bike or does not know what he has. In "used" condition and depending on the overall condition I'd say the guy is asking for about twice what the bike is worth. Shop around a little more. You can always gently confront and ask him why he thinks the bike is what he says it is. I always ask sellers if they are the original owner and see what they say. Try to keep them honest.
