You're only limited on the seatpost, can change the bars. But the seatpost works well, so I haven't seen a need to change it.
Another thing to consider if you still can't decide between the two, is Giant's two year crash replacement warranty. A friend of mine was involved in a pileup on a road ride and cracked a chainstay, Giant replaced the frame no questions asked.
