My friend is 4'10" and is having a hard time finding a road bike. We came across a small step thru/mixte 2012 Fuji Absolute 2.0 that fits her really well. It looks like a pretty zippy little flat bar road bike but we're not sure.

Can anyone tell me if this bike would be appropriate for 40-50 mile rides, or is it more of an around town commuter/hybrid/work out bike? This is the only information I can find on the bike. Flat Bar Hybrid Road Bikes - Road - Fuji Absolute 2.0 Flat Bar Hybrid Road bikes

Thanks for any information or opinions!
4-10 is a tough fit for 700c. Many issues pop up, the main one being toe overlap. I'd recommend finding a used Terry, they were made for smaller women. This one uses a smaller front wheel to maintain standard geometry.
