Connecting Axa Slim Steady rear light

Fed up with battery changes, I bought a dynamo wheel (Amazon) that came with LED lights. Front light connected no problem; rear light, no idea. The blurb says: “The practical push connections makes the Slim Steady easy to connect to both side running and hub dynamo’s.” But to my untrained first time eye, it is not practical. I assume cables need to be exposed at the ends (maybe) but after that, no idea. AXA manufacturer customer service is no use. First post here so unable to attach a picture. Any hints or solutions?
