MoAlpha I need a sailing consult.
A friend of mine has a sailboat but I believe has fairly limited experience. I know he has sailed some but I think just day trips in the Chesapeake and 20 years ago on some lake near Austin he even lost a catamaran in a storm.
Anyway he plans to sail from Baltimore to Canary Islands, either solo or with his adult son.
Is that reasonable? Seems kinda risky to this landlubber. He has a history of TBI and slightly impaired judgement, although it’s generally well compensated.
