You could boot it from the inside but my feeling is that if more than a few cords are cut, it’s not a good idea. It’s the cords/casing that give the tire its strength. That’s why I snicker at threads in the 41 about people who “repair” small cuts in their tread with epoxy or rubber cement. Seems foolish to me. But maybe I am the bigger fool?
