Shifter cable is replaced. Since they break so often, at least I have become fairly adept at replacing them. It's easy on the Habanero because external cables.
I checked and this cable was put in in March, so I did get approx 3500 miles from it. That's slightly better than usual but still ridiculous IMO. While the bike was up in the stand I checked chain wear (I put on new chain at the same time I re-did the cables) and the chain is worn ("stretched") 0.33% which is not worth switching yet, but getting close, I typically change the chain at somewhere between 0.5% and 0.75%. I know some advise wait until 1% but that seems too worn IMO.
