Congrats Spelger. As of y'day, I have 6644 miles ytd. I set what I call a soft goal early in the year, 7000 miles, which I upped to 7320 to give me an avg. of 20 miles a day for all of 2020. It is a leap year. I wanted to be within 800 miles of that by the end of October, so, I am ahead of that. This is my 6th, maybe 7th, year in a row with over 4000 miles, after never hitting that number before.

The past couple of weeks, my mileage has dropped due to weather and other obligations. That is actually a good thing as I was getting a bit obsessed with the number of miles. I think, for the year, the most days off in a row is 5, and the most days in a row with a ride is 16. The only other year I set a mileage goal was 2017, passed 6000, with 232 days in a row with a ride.
