The wait time for a team car is the same whether you're using disc brakes or rim brakes.
It’s likelier needed with discs, though, than when you could easily grab just about any random wheel.
I’ll likely never buy another rim brake bike, but I’m not exactly happy about it, and the “it’s coming” diktat is about as welcome as any other industry-forced change.
