Yeah, I used to keep one of those kits in my saddle bag. Haven't had a need for it in >15 years, so I didn't bother transferring it to my new saddle bag, about 2 saddle bags ago.
Your call, but I have a few extra but small/light items in my repair sac:
1. Valve extender (has saved a couple friends who needed to borrow tubes)
2. Quick link for chain
3. Stick on patches and boot
4. Zip-ties for MacGyver repairs
