I'm happy you were able to find a headset that works! Since you posted that photo of the steerer being cut too short to use a Super Record headset I wondered if it would be too short, period. Glad that's not the case.

Ive discovered the Tange headsets always come thru in the clutch when a low stack headset is needed. Theyre clean, simple, vintage looking and super cheap.
