I found one more old print of the Shafer Trail. Here are the switchbacks up high in the canyon on the way down to the White Rim Trail. If you look closely you can see my riding partner at the red arrow ahead of me on the descent. Yes, we were on a day trip and had to climb back up that afternoon!
