New Socks Days!! I got a nice little package from Swiftwick this weekend with 3 pairs - Pursuit 4, Vision 5, Aspire 4. The Pursuit 4 is their wool blend (these are not the "ultralight" version). The material feels really nice, but they're a little thicker than I tend to prefer. I can see these being really excellent for cooler weather. I wore them around the house on Saturday evening - very comfy. Did 40+ miles on Sunday with the Vision 5. The length is just about the limit of what I think is reasonable. The fabric feels about the same thickness as the Pursuit, but it's a non-wool blend. They're definitely nice, but felt a bit warmer than the Aspires that I usually wear. The Aspire 4 remains my favorite for length, fabric, thickness, and fit (I have a narrow foot).
