I have a 2002 Bad Boy. Great bikes for commuting. Very agile and quick. You can move laterally very well while pedaling hard. Great bike for "in traffic" riding.
I replaced the factory tires with Specialized Nimbus EX 1.5 slicks. Even though some have maxed out the air pressure on these tires to 90psi, I generally run about 72psi. Makes the road smoother for that "harshness" from a aluminum ride.
I am building a steel frame commuter. But I will always keep my Bad Boy it's been a great bike for 3 years now. The controlability of the bicycle makes a non-stop commuter.
My only criticism is the front crank's biggest chairring is 44. I will run out of gears on the right decline. However, most of the time I am commuting on city roads and the gearing is fine.
