Another good choice would have been gold components. (Still contrasts, but gives a richer overall vibe.) Just have to be careful to not overdo it, like gold everywhere.

My dark red Steamroller (unofficial color way name: bloody stool) usually runs on gold hubs. This was not a deliberate decision; I just happened to find a good deal on the wheels, but I think it looks great. I’ve often contemplated adding a gold stem top cap and seat post collar, and keeping everything else black. Currently, however, it has mostly black components with a few silver details.

I’m all about consistency/cohesion, but here’s one more place where I like contrast and think it would look super on your lo-pro: hubs and rims one color (either black or silver) and spokes the other. You’re pretty close, with the silver hubs/spokes and black rims. Not knocking you, though. It’s beautiful as is.

I agree with the gold accents. It has a gold badge on head tube, and gold bolts on cranks, but could use a little more.
