Original Raleigh brazed-end cables are available on eBay now and then. Usually with silver housing.

I have a few Clarks cables set up in this fashion, all fronts. One Raleigh and half a dozen oddballs for '50s BSAs/Triumphs/Phillips/etc. Have yet to find rears though...
