Thanks, no idea on the weight limit, it's not stated and the only warnings is ensuring the seat post grooves are burr free. I'll let you know in a few if my 195-200lb frame crushes it

I believe that silver part to be another composite material (White Carbon). It appears to be molded to the black carbon as one.
