I think $1800 is a fair price for the complete bike which becomes over 2K with shipping & the taxes ebay collects on the sale of used bicycles. Not a smokin' deal especially when you consider the odd build.
It's a nice wheelset but doesn't belong on that bike. I'm not opposed to mixing components from different eras but in this case it's comes off as jarring. The wide black spokes in a modern lace pattern doesn't mesh. That's what you see on a TIG welded frame with over-size tubes and sloping toptube.
This classic steel frame has chrome plated lugs!
