All you need is a cassette, chain and new brifters. You could sell the 8 speed parts to help defray the cost and get into the bike for reasonable money. Good luck

My bike was made in Waterford. One of the very first OS frames, with silver brazed lugs. My point is, I've seen Waterford built OS paramounts like mine for less than $1200, and they are clearly wrth more than the regular guage tubing bike in the auction.
