Just looked up "Delrin" out of idle curiosity - turns out to be a thermoplastic formulation, which means that it should be capable of being, e.g., heated and remolded. Perhaps a chemist (I'm thinking
cyccommute) can weigh in on whether there might be a practical way to repair those problematic Simplex front derailleurs.
