You've never used readers? Most of us need them before age 57, I think. I started needing them to read in my 40s but was able to get by on the bike and driving until later. I started using off the shelf readers on the bike several years ago and they work fine. I especially wanted the help on the mtb.

I have a pair of readers in my front pocket. I had generally only needed them for super-fine print over the past few years. But it's gotten worse so I may be needing them for regular print.
