I believe the X-tenos stem, as OP pictures, is one of the Modolo models that was considered "unsafe" due to being prone to cracking, the recalled version is the one with "pronounced edges" on the bottom of the extension portion, here's a link with more details:

Even if this is a later "more safe" version I'd give it a pass and find a model with nothing suspect, shouldn't be that hard to find....
