I like these classic bear traps, have a bunch of them mostly for the cool colors. They are kinda terrible for bikes you actually intend to ride though. They are sharp as hell out of the box, and will damage you and anything you lean the bike against. I think most of the scratches on my bikes are from other bikes with these things.

They are also somehow slippery as hell when wet. It's possible they are better in the wet with a modern flat pedal specific shoe, but in my experience they are not great with normal street shoes. I would not use them on anything but a nice day cruiser bike.
