Anyone out there know the brand of wheels it wore new from bike shop? Trying to gather lists of nomenclature for it but an uphill trek. Perhaps it wore black color anodized rims? They were so popular then.

More information would be helpful. What brakes and derailleurs are on it? Alpha 5000 is ‘87, Exage Sport ‘88, Sport LX ‘89. Unicrown fork?
yes OEM was very likely dark anodized Araya rims
