My mom's neighbor sold their home and the new tenants (who aren't in permanently, yet) left this out on the curb for the garbage man. With permission, I harvested it:



A 1998 Trek 8000. There are some ugly dents in the top tube and down tube, and I'll never ride this thing (a proper arse up head down 90's mtb racing position), but I figured its at least worth some parts. Like the XT M737 rear derailleur and V brakes, LX 8 speed shifters, and Avid brake levers. Wheels seem decent as well, notwithstanding the radial lace front.... Probably strip parts and donate to the local collective.
