" great bike, you should change out that heavy crankset"
" go compact, lighter"
" carbon crankset would look cool there"
ok, I have an FSA Gossamer ISIS, this "fat" crank is 625g, and the BB is 185g. hmmm... 810g total...I really don't need compact.
FSA SLK Carbon mega exo: 825g, heavier.
Truvativ Rouleur carbon >820g, same with Raceface
ahhh..but the K Force FSA carbon is 460g, but complaints everywhere about delamination and other quality problems.
see here
there's this:
Which is cool.
Campy ally is all the same weight or heavier, except the goofy-expensive carbons and I'll need a square taper BB.
Is there a reliable carbon ISIS crankset worth the effort, or is this just bling?
