I had been using a spanninga light/charger combo that was almost pointless so this surprised me. I'll probably just charge a battery as I tour but at any rate I know it will do some good. My tail lights are usually old ones from sidewall generators with a modern stand light bulb like peter white sells and then I use a modern front light that I can turn off for charging. Keeping the fone charged is a pretty major concern while touring.
