Your head should most definitely not be up your ass. I've looked at the pros in TT's and most of them have an incorrect head position and spend a great deal of time looking down to relieve the strain on their neck. This is very bad because you should always be able to see ahead. This means that non-pros should have the TT bars higher than the pros. Although with practice you can have less neck pain they no longer have very long TT's because of the control loss problem.
It's really surprising they don't have people to sort this out for them.
