ha ha ha ...paid too much hugh !!! well from what i remember it had malliard hubs with quick realeases .. do not remember seein a date. the crankset is stronglight... i remember that. it had some nice toe clips..an italia leather saddle...huret deraillers and shifters....the whole thing is sweet and blimish free. the specialized tires someone put on it are like new even though i know they are at least 20 yrs old. what i thought was cool was that it had all european parts on it. most bikes i find in places like this even if they are european, have had japanese parts on them... after all ...suntour and shimano were better and cheaper than their french competitors back in the day. all in all ....20 bucks on a 400.00 dollar bike at least when it was new....not to shabby of a deal.. ...thanks all i'll put some pics on here when i can.. james
