Yes, and the details are what I'm looking for.
If you look at the last 8k of the Stage 15 map from CyclingStage.com (as just one example) you'll see the dots. They show up on other stages as well.
The map you show is from the Official TDF site. Great for the view from 40,000 ft but not details.
