What brand is the triple butted spoke to which you refer?
DT Swiss. They can be pricey but worth the extra cost. Pillar makes a good triple butted spoke as well. About the only place I can find them, however, is Bdop Cycling out of Taiwan. Alpine III’s run from $1.50 to $2 each. Pillar TB2018’s from Bdop are $0.89 each. Sapim also makes the Force spoke which is priced like the DT Swiss, if not a bit more.
