take another look at those pedals... i bet the bearings are as thrashed...

what happens to threads in cast aluminum when steel screws, under shear and impact loading, back out, and then fall out?
even if they bite and thread in, the screws will likely back out again.

SDhawk Might get lucky and, by using Green Locktite Bearing race and bushing locker, keep those new screws in the pedals for a month or three...

i'd just get new pedals now.
i've been through this scenario too many times.
