Thanks. I think one of the concerns I've run into with older aluminum frames is that I really can't be sure what the top rider weight limits may be. Case in point, I found a really nice Zullo aluminum frame, super light, hand made. I almost pulled the trigger and bought it. But after emailing Mr. Zullo himself, he replied that the frame was intended for riders who weigh no more than 143 lbs. Not 140, but 143 (so specific!) That could have been catastrophic for me, as I weigh 188-190. So, even as to this Alan frame, I probably have to give it a pass and get into a much newer product.
