But I don't have any inherent objection to someone wearing a team jersey. I mean, around here you see people wearing Giants, and 49ers, and Warriors paraphernalia, so why no a cycling team you like? Not for me, though.
I'll wear the kit of the team/club I belong to, or a LBS jersey, but not a pro team kit. The casual observer probably can't tell the difference, but those who know, know. Those who know also know that your plain Eliel/Rapha/Le Col (etc.) jersey and bibs are as nice or nicer than most team kits.
