Stupid ME!

Further to my message of 2 hours ago, I figured it out!

Stupid me

Do not hold the axle on the Left hand threaded nut which fixes the freehub BUT hold the axle with a 5mm hex key on the drive side of the axle and off comes the left sided end cap without any problem
