Campagnolo Scirocco Hub Part
I am looking for a replacement part for my Campagnolo Scirocco rear wheel. This part was also used on other Campy wheels (circa 2012).
The part is a plastic cap that snaps in at the outermost part of the hub. The P/N is HB-ZO001, I have indicated the part in the attached exploded view.
I contacted Campagnolo and the part is no longer available. They suggested checking with Campy vendors as someone may still have some in stock. I googled the hell out of that P/N and only came up with one place in the UK that was "out of stock"
This part is almost impossible to remove once they get old and brittle without breaking. Without it the washer and bearing are exposed and even though it is a sealed bearing the bearing soon failed.
Any idea where I could source this part? Is the cap from the more expensive Campy offerings of that vintage interchangeable? I hate to abandon these wheels over a little plastic part.

Find an old wheel for sale that uses the same? Make one yourself? (Challenge some 3D printing buff with this project or cut one out of an old credit card?). Good luck. Andy

I may give it a try but that is pretty much a Hail Mary at this point.

I have been looking on eBay for weeks and just did the search you recommended. I went through 3 pages of results and could not find the part.
Could you please post a link to to where you have seen them? Thanks..... Appreciate it.

Looks to be very similar to the end cap on Fulcrum 5/7 wheels (most likely the same part just a different part number, as one of the Fulcrum hubs has, as they are build in the same factory) Maybe have a search for them/hubs people are scrapping out to see in one matches?

I hope anybody here can help me with my Sirocco rim break rear wheel.
I simply cannot remove the end cap for the QR skewer from the axle. (The part circled in red in the image).

I believe this end cap is screwed into the axle but when I try to unscrew this by holding the nut on the other end of the axle at the freehub with a spanner, then I am tightening the left handed threaded nut holding the freehub more and more and I am getting afraid that the thread might become damaged.
Somewhere I read that there should be 2 flats on the axle on non drive side just behind the black nut in question and before the small lock ring but I don't seem to have them on my wheel / axle and I don't think they would be of much help considering the amount of force I have already applied to the nut to get it off.
Of course I also assume that this is a normal RH thread.
I need to get the axle out to replace my bearings.
Thanks to al for reading and helping
Robert

Stupid ME!
Further to my message of 2 hours ago, I figured it out!
Stupid me
Do not hold the axle on the Left hand threaded nut which fixes the freehub BUT hold the axle with a 5mm hex key on the drive side of the axle and off comes the left sided end cap without any problem
