you had scuffed up the alloy. I dunno how rare these tools are. Hopefully you can obtain you own set. The only alternative I can think of is wrapping the parts in leather and using a money wrench. You would need two people. That being said, I've had to use a fair amount of power to lock as well as keep good tension on the bearing cups. There was a cheaper version of these parts, and they may use the same tools. I used to know the model numbers of
both headsets ... so you should be able to recover those to help you.
