... at the end of the garage! The Great Purge of 2023 has progressed well but it will have to be retitled "The Great Purge of 2023 - 2024" in a few short days as there is still much to do. I can safely say 99% of my tools (I have an insane amount of tools) now have proper homes and can be easliy accessed and I have added some much needed equipment to the roster. I also parted with a lot of specialized automotive tools as I no longer had any use for them. The last remaining vestiges of my automotive parts are awaiting pickup by a coworker and my cousin and I am knee deep into organizing the parts for my far too many bicycle projects. Once that is complete I begin re-organizing my general inventory and condensing it further. I'm saving the worst for last, culling the "herd" which even though I'm in the proper frame of mind will still involve some hard choices.
It's been a lot of hard work and has consumed most of my free time but it's been worth it. My New Years Resolution for 2024 is to wrap up the garage in the next couple months, get rid of some bikes, no new bikes (unless it's something really special and a great buy LOL), get as many projects back on the road as possible and spend a lot more time riding in the coming year. With that I will wish you all a Happy New Year and a great 2024!
