They had a distinctive cast seat lug, that included those bullet shaped stay ends as part of the seat tube top lug.

​​​​​​Exactly. For the record, I was the person that gave to frame set to Reynolds 531 . The seat stay caps are very similar to both my '54 and '64 Bianchis. This frame was part of a husband/wife combo which included my '64 Bianchi, which was a second of the line "Team Issue," which was second only to the 999 serial Reparto Corse bikes of that era.

It's definitely a Bianchi... What year and where in the pecking order is another question entirely.... Cool bike, regardless!
