Why send it back? You've already ripped off the Band-aid and purchased one. Your adaptors fit the current industry trend. Who knows? They could be perfect for your next bike. There is no wheel off trainer that will accept a 120mm OLD. There just isn't; You'd have to make the trainer itself narrower.

Why not pick up the cheapest thing you can on any Craigslist, FB Market Place, or wherever? It doesn't really matter so long as it has a chain, crankset, handle bars & a means of shifting. You don't even need shifting if you only do structured workouts. ERG mode takes care of that.

You could also just keep the Kona Dew on the trainer, too.
