Looks can be deceiving, but skinny wheels do not mean fragile. You can have big beefy walmart wheels that really are poorly built with cheap parts. I have not even needed to true my wheels of my Coda since I've had it (3 years).

But, as I said before, I'm pretty light. Heavier riders have to true wheels more often. I'm 135#, so I have no problems. I do ride through rough roads, though. You have made a very good purchase. Your Coda will serve you well. Congratulations.
