Trainers

Even though I live in Hawaii and can easily ride year round, I've been thinking about getting a trainer.

There are two I've been particularly considering. One is by Kurt and is a fluid trainer. Reviews I've found have been excellent and I was particularly interested when they talked about how they never had trouble with it leaking.

Also, I have a brother who has been a machinist for decades. He told me the Kurt company makes top quality stuff for major manufacturing companies. Apparently the owner got interested biking (or his son did). In their quest for a trainer, they didn't find any they liked so they started making their own.

The other is called 1 Up USA CPR A-2000. All aluminum. This also received great reviews from users - even better than the Kurt (average 4.92 out of 5). Has a lifetime warranty I blieve.

Any comments?

Bob
