part of me says yes. part of me says no. anyone who has cycled it will tell you it is spectacular. the views are, supposedly, the bees knees.
caltrans still minimally maintains the road using snowplow/rockplow trucks with plenty of rockfall. guessing it would be subject to the same closures/guidance
that gmr/grr have on major holidays and/or storm/fire conditions.
