Every lake has legends of huge catfish. I have dived in many of them and have seen big catfish, but not VW Bug size.
It’s always funny to me that whoever is telling the story didn’t see one. He heard it from somebody else.
If you want to catch catfish when you are heading toward the dam look for a canyon on your left. We called it the icebox because it seemed to be stocked with catfish.
