that's a little easier to say when you live in southern California!

I'll ride when it is cold, and have ridden to work when it was 0F in the morning.
Still, the clothing does have limits, even while winter riding has its charms.

The most trouble that I've had with cold weather was when I had to fix a flat tire when it was 8F and the sun was setting. I don't recommend this, regardless of your clothing.

By the same token, I've lived in southwest Arizona for a few years, and learned to ride at night instead of dealing with temperatures of 120F. That sort of heat will kill you just as easily as the extreme cold will.
