I hate to do this.
I started to have problems on my mtn bike quite similar to what the OP posted, and to say I can’t stand strange noises on my bikes would be a bit of an understatement.
So, I’ve checked more than once to see if my brakes were rubbing, having recently changed out the pads, cleaned the rotors, bedded in the new pads etc. I was pretty sure it was not a brake problem, yet the noise persisted.
So today, on my ride, it seemed worse. I thought about it, and wondered if the thru-axle was torqued down. I stopped and pulled out the tools, and sure enough, it wasn’t anywhere near torqued down to spec. So I reefed down on it, and took off again…. Noise gone.
I got home, and checked with a torque wrench. Hopefully the problem stays gone. Apparently, everything was flexing just enough to cause an occasional random light brake rub.

So Deason, there you go, that’ll probably fix your issue, if you haven’t already traded the bike in on a new one.
