all types of sprint work can be done.
I don't do much of it but usually just do pyramid intervals of 10 secs up to 30 secs and back down. 10 on, 10 off, 20 on, 20 off, 30 on, 30 off, 20 on, 20 off, 10 on, 10 off. 3 or 4 sets of those and you'll be knackered. All sprints are full tilt.
Also practice longer sprints, 1 minute or so with a 5 minute break in between. Try it on a slight hill, use the rise to slow you down a bit and then jump hard so you are sprinting from a slower starting speed than what you would in a race, good explosive practice.
