My partner, for example, used to live about 8-9 miles from her place in Queens, NYC and her work at the Freedom Tower. She lived about a half mile from the big hill known as the Ed Koch/59th Street Bridge. While a bike like this could probably help her cross the bridge on the way home (the capacitor charged from 6 miles riding plus any residual charge from her morning commute), it may not help her ride across the bridge in the morning, depending upon how much the charge the capacitors had to start with and how quickly they discharged. Maybe there'd be enough energy in the capacitors the next morning. Maybe not enough after a long weekend or a vacation.
It would be cool to see some real reviews of the bike.
