No go. Unless you have some kind of special bars, standard 22.2mm bars are too small to fit barends. An expensive solution would be to use Paul Thumbies to convert those barends to high quality thumb shifters that you could mount wherever you want on the bar: http://www.paulcomp.com/ Otherwise, just look for a standard mountain bike shifter.
